 Spar Wars 2024: Miami’s Epic Fight Night Series
The Miami fighting scene came alive on April 27, 2024.  Fighters showcased their grit, skill, and determination in front of a roaring crowd, proving why this city is home to some of the fiercest competitors.  In partnership with Wolfpack Gym, bringing even more intense matchups and elevating the sport to new heights. These events have become a staple in Miami, celebrating not just the fighters but the entire community’s spirit of perseverance and camaraderie. 

  Spar Wars 2024: A Night of Grit and Determination in Miami

On May 18, 2024, Miami was electrified by the Spar Wars amateur fighting event, where emerging fighters showcased their skill, passion, and drive. The crowd was treated to thrilling matches filled with intense action, as each fighter left everything in the ring. It was more than just a competition—it was a celebration of resilience, sportsmanship, and the fighting spirit that brings people together. The Miami fighting community continues to grow stronger, and this event was a testament to the dedication of both fighters and fans alike.  

 Kids Meet White Boy Rick at BYB Extreme Fighting League Event – A Moment of Inspiration 

At the BYB Extreme Fighting League event on August 10, 2024, the foster kids had the chance to meet Richard Wershe Jr., also known as "White Boy Rick." Wershe is a fascinating figure with a unique and complex history. He gained fame in the 1980s as the youngest FBI informant ever at just 14 years old. During this time, he infiltrated Detroit's drug scene, helping the FBI take down major drug lords like the Curry brothers. However, he later became involved in the drug trade himself, ultimately being sentenced to life in prison at 17 for a nonviolent drug offense.

After serving nearly 30 years, he was paroled in 2017, and since then, Wershe has become an advocate for criminal justice reform. His life story has been chronicled in books, documentaries, and even a Hollywood film titled White Boy Rick​.  Meeting such a notable figure was undoubtedly an impactful experience for the children.
